This Monongahela ranch home got a full exterior update in February 2025. Our crew wrapped the walls, flashed the windows and installed new green vinyl siding with white trim on every side of the house.
Monongahela is a river town in Washington County, south of Pittsburgh along the Mon River. Homes here face damp river air and long wet winters, which is hard on old siding and the walls behind it. This ranch home needed new siding on all four sides, and the walls needed protection underneath before anything new went up.
“Very pleased with our siding, soffits, fascia, and gutters by Alan, Jim, and their crew!” Chelsea C., Google review
Siding is only as good as what is behind it. Without a weather barrier, wind driven rain gets behind the panels and into the wall. That is why we wrapped the walls and flashed the windows first, then installed the new vinyl siding over a sealed surface.

Vinyl siding sheds most water, but some always gets behind it. House wrap keeps that water out of the wall and lets moisture dry out.
Most homes take three to seven days, depending on the size of the house and the trim work.
Yes. We work in Washington County towns like Monongahela as well as across the South Hills.
A sealed weather barrier behind the siding cuts drafts through the walls. Many homeowners notice a more comfortable house once the new siding is on.
